Bitcoin is becoming mainstream. More and more organisations and companies are taking on cryptocurrency as a method of payment and now in a shock move, Microsoft(TM) has introduced Bitcoin as a money format into their Excel spreadsheet.
Apple has not caught up yet with their spreadsheet offering, Numbers which is a terrible shame as it’s a really good spreadsheet.
You can manually do it as a custom format, but including it as a default option in a spreadsheet makes a major statement in terms of recognising the validity of a currency by a major software publishing house.
