AZN Astra Zenica beware the EU

A crisis is brewing as with much angry stamping of feet and childish waving of arms the EU is meeting to discuss blocking export licenses for the Astra Zenica vaccine to the UK. If the EU cause a shortage of vaccines to the UK it could stem Mr Johnson’s attempts to bring the country out of lockdown. If the UK retaliates we could see a stupid and horrendous trade war.

What of the AZN Shares I’m holding. Well, supply and demand. There is still going to be demand for as much of the vaccine that they can make all the while Covid is with us. The EU really hates Astra Zenica, first making out that people were getting blood clots and now this.

Wars have been started on smaller issues.

I’m nervous about my Astra Zenica stock, but I think I’ll see how this week plays out. It may cause a fall in the stock which I might buy more in to and then a rally out of it when everything gets sorted out. My initial investment was at $47 and a half dollars. So already showing some nice profits with a target of the upper trend line. If it breaks the top and goes up I’m targeting much higher.

There is some good news for Astra Zenica Today:

AstraZeneca had good news for once. Its vaccine was 79% effective in a U.S. trial and protected against all severe cases and deaths. An independent board found no safety concerns. The findings may pave the way for possible U.S. regulatory approval and should boost confidence after a number of setbacks.

according to Bloomberg.
