BOE wants to regulate exchanges – But wait didn’t you say it wasn’t real?

In a surprising change of heart, Mark Carney who it seems only yesterday said that Bitcoin has failed as a currency has now decided he wants to regulate currency exchanges in the UK.

Hang on Mark, if it’s failed as a currency then it isn’t a currency which means the exchanges are exchanging nothing.

Put it like this I have nothing against regulation when it’s protecting people from disgusting scammers who rob the poor to line their own pockets. For example, my pension, what a scam that is – in the terms and conditions it says you may not get back everything that you put in. Why bother? I’m better buying Bitcoin.

How about Mark, you sort out the corruption in the current financial system before trying to sort out the cryptocurrency world which, although populated with scammers as well as genuine traders, investors and customers, is regulated by mathematics.

If you want to regulate the exchanges, Mark, surely you are admitting that these currencies are a “something”, that they haven’t failed and that they are fueling expansion and industry, especially in the startup world.

Back of Mark, either come on board and support it or back off.
