I am starting to short stocks. Especially US stocks. I am very concerned that although the markets are dropping due to inflation worries, worries about chip shortages, the FED sits idly by and says it’s holding interest rates till 2022. Yeah right. It seems unlike here in the UK who are gradually sliding out of the covid crisis, other countries are still deeply embedded in it. Even with this after the recent scandal
The DOW fell on Tuesday after spending ages hanging around $64 earlier this year and end of last year.

I wonder if actually, the FED’s attitude is not washing with markets hit by crisis after crisis, it seems the world learns nothing from crashes. Although I wonder if we are heading for a terrible crash.
Credit Suisse is talking about buying dips in June and July so it should be a long run. I am looking to start shorting things today. I’m going to pull some of my long stock trades and then balance the profitable longs with shorts. Dow Jones? Maybe they should rename it Down Jones.
Not being the bearer of bad tidings but an interest rate adjustment based on surprise inflation worries may come way sooner than 2022.
We could have some retraction when CPI data comes in from the US. After that, I’ll start closing my trades. Trust me, I’m worried for the world, very worried.
Going to be a rough ride everyone.
