It’s 8am, I’ve been trying to transfer money to my cash account from NatWest and it’s not working. It’s broken. I have a few different accounts and one I use for cash – so I never have a lot in it so if my card gets cloned or stolen, they can’t spend anything, because there’s nothing in the account.
The problem is, their site is down. “The bank insists they are working hard”, that’s fine but I still can’t get cash.
The crypto solution – by having everything in a decentralised blockchain would mean that if my local server isn’t working, I can literally connect to another server on the blockchain (or even MY OWN NODE). It would be much more difficult to take the system offline.
So another fiat bank fail. But my bitcoin is still working.
