Oculus sight for the future. OVTZ Virtual Reality

I’ve recently been getting into VR Headsets with my first experience with an Oculus VR, although I had motion sickness at first with it, I loved it so much I decided to splash out other Oculus Quest 2. I like to invest in things I’m interested in. The chart is looking good although the ATR is falling for Oculus, the MACD is crossing up.

Oculus is owned by Facebook. So this means a solid basis for the future, plus I discovered today that 20% of Facebook’s resources are being used to develop VR.

Downsides – you have to have a Facebook account to login to your Oculus VR unit. I think this is the start of a new trend with working from home, the next stage from Zoom is virtual offices, where you can work with others in a room and rather than having to book a meeting carry on with the usual office banter. (this might of course be a bad thing). Imagine a virtual office block where you could visit HR, everyone could have a corner office overlooking the ocean.

So OVTZ, I think it’s in a good place for a buy. The only worry I have is the ATR is falling so it may be a while before it makes any fast progress unless Facebook announces something.

There were issues with the early production of the Oculus Quest 2 but these have been resolved. I am concerned that earnings may be bad because I am sure that Facebook is subsidising units to get data. The Oculus Quest 2 is a masterpiece of engineering. I enjoyed films with my Oculus VR and working on my MAC with it. VR is the future.
