In a shock move, Paypal are going to allow users to use Cryptocurrency. This caused a surge in Crypto prices.
The reason that this is mainly a shock is I’m sure at one point it was not allowed to use Paypal to do cryptocurrency transactions. This is a huge U turn if it comes off.
Commercialising Crypto with Paypal
Once Paypal starts using crypto the whole world becomes used to it. Now is the time to begin thinking about investing if you have not. If this comes off, it will be such a major change in terms of getting “normal” people to accept the cryptocurrency.
Global Domination?
Of course, if a currency fails then a user with a Paypal account may find themselves with a valid crypto balance. Could it be this move is in view to Paypal launching their own cryptocurrency? Which they have the manpower and computer power to do. Eventually, people could stop using fiat currencies altogether.
