Unlike certain other sites that bombard you with advertising I was excited to find out about a site called Steemit where other users pay and vote for your posts! I’m going to start publishing my blog posts there as well.
Not much to say about it except GIVE IT A GO, it’s clean and refreshing and people seem nice (maybe because nice = money).

I’m also mining steam coins which is mildly complicated but I’m running it on my forex trading server in fact so it’s cool – but you will need a lot of disk space
Boring Technical Bit that Excites people like me
This whole thing is based on the block chain! Remembering that the blockchain can be used for other things than coins! It’s all integrated, posts and knowledge have a value. I’m actually mining steam coins on my mining rig at home which is great fun (well for about 10 minutes then it gets quite boring).
I never heard of Steemit before but will check it out. Looks interesting.
